The Key2MV House Raffle has been cancelled.
Dear Raffle Ticket holder or
Potential Key2MV Raffle Ticket Purchaser,
As of October 1, 2008, the Executive Board of the Island Affordable Housing Fund has made a decision to cancel the Key2MV house raffle for #2 East Jenney Way for the 2008 season.
Although tickets have sold at a brisk pace, and we thought that the weeks leading up to the drawing would bring a further surge in sales, we have seen a dramatic slowdown in the number of tickets sold since word of Wall Street's problems have hit the news. We can see the "writing on the wall" and do not want to make any additional sales if we know that we will not make the minimum number to be sold per the Terms and Conditions by mid-November.
Ticket purchaser's will receive a letter about the cancellation of Key2MV the week of October 6th. The letter will also provide refund information.
We have had a wonderful time selling the tickets and sharing in people's excitement over such an innovative fundraiser. We will look at doing something like Key2MV in the future. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you again for your belief in us and have a fantastic fall.
